Hurtigruten offers daily 12-day or 7-day departures from Bergen and 6-day departures from Kirkenes. Each voyage both northbound and southbound calls at 34 ports! The ports visited during the day on the northbound voyage is called at during the night on the southbound cruise, and vice versa. Port calls vary from 45 minutes up to six hours.

April 15 - September 14: Ships depart Bergen 8pm (20:00) and arrive Kirkenes 9:45am. Ships depart Kirkenes 12:45 and arrive Bergen 2:30pm (14:30).

Rest of the year, the ships departs Bergen 10:30pm (22:30) and arrive Kirkenes 09:45am. All voyages are scheduled to arrive Bergen 2:30pm (14:30).

There is a direct Kirkenes-Oslo flight offered by SAS all year (www.flysas.com) and by Norwegian Air in the summer (www.norwegian.com)

If you are in Oslo, you may want to take the 6 1/2 hours scenic train journey from Oslo across the mountains to Bergen (www.nsb.no).
