G Expedition - New

G Expedition: Your Vessel for Deep Polar Immersion
The extensively refurbished G Adventures 128-passenger vessel, the G Expedition, is purpose-built to navigate the planet's most pristine polar regions. This ship seamlessly blends rugged performance with modern comfort, offering an intimate and enriching way to experience the Arctic and Antarctica.

Refined Comfort and Community:
Step aboard the G Expedition and discover a vessel that has undergone a comprehensive upgrade. Every detail is designed for your comfort and enjoyment, from refreshed cabins with private ensuite bathrooms to enlarged and inviting social spaces. The ship’s architecture fosters a strong sense of community, allowing you to connect easily with fellow travellers and expert polar guides.

Advanced Performance and Sustainability:
The G Expedition is equipped with cutting-edge technology to ensure your journey is as smooth and quiet as possible while minimizing environmental impact. Key features include:

  • Ice Class 1A: Certifies the vessel for safe navigation through challenging ice-filled waters.

  • Upgraded Stabilizers and Modern Propulsion: These systems work in harmony to deliver exceptionally smooth sailing and stability in open seas.

  • Significantly Smaller Carbon Footprint: The new, highly-efficient engines and modern propulsion system dramatically reduce emissions, reflecting a deep commitment to sustainable polar travel.

Unmatched Access and Intimacy:
With a strict limit of just 128 passengers, the G Expedition offers an experience that larger vessels simply cannot match. This capacity is key to our philosophy of deep immersion: we aim to get every single guest out on excursions twice a day (weather permitting). This means less time waiting and more time doing what matters most—stepping off the ship to be fully immersed in the magic, the wildlife, and the profound silence of the Arctic and Antarctic wilderness.
