The Future of American River Cruising™ continues with American Melody, the 4th in our American riverboat series. American Melody showcases a whole new aesthetic, with an updated interior design, bringing us to the next level of modern sophistication.
Specifically designed to navigate the Mississippi River, American Melody features panoramic views throughout, including an impressive four-story glass atrium in the center of the ship. Ranging from 250 to 650 square feet, all of the spacious staterooms feature full-size bathrooms, roomy closets, and private balconies. American Melody also offers the Back Porch Café for casual dining, an option that has been very popular with our guests.
The new ship also features many spacious lounges, where you can share the day’s adventures with fellow guests, as well as an onboard fitness centre. At the end of each incredible day, unwind in your luxurious Grand Suite or Veranda Suite and enjoy “suite treats” which have been delivered to your stateroom, such as mini cheesecakes or chocolate-covered strawberries.
The Grand Suites are the finest shipboard accommodations on any small cruise ship. 650 sq. ft. of space encompasses a living room, bedroom, dining table and breakfast bar, balcony, and a spacious master bathroom. Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors in both the bedroom and living room lead to a 25-foot-long private balcony with a table, chairs, and chaise lounge. The living room has a TV, and the dining area has a coffee machine and refrigerator that is restocked daily. The bedroom has an additional TV and has a king-size bed but can be configured with two twin beds. The bathroom has a double vanity with a large shower, and is equipped with toiletries, hairdryer, plush towels and robes. Storage space in each Grand Suite includes a wardrobe, full-size dresser, and desk drawers. Each suite also has individual climate control, safe, USB charging ports, and complimentary WiFi.

Each 405 sq. ft. Veranda Suite stateroom offers large floor-to-ceiling glass doors which lead to a comfortable balcony with a table and chairs. Each room has a king-size bed but can be configured with two twin beds. Veranda Suite rooms have a full bathroom equipped with large shower, toiletries, hairdryer, and plush towels. Storage space in each room includes a wardrobe, full-size dresser, under-bed storage, and desk drawers.
