Circumnavigating Iceland And Fjords Of East Greenland

23 Day Reykjavik to Reykjavik

A land of contrasts
Sail Iceland’s coastline and see every side of this incredible island country, from active volcanoes and geysers to imposing glaciers and mountains. Get a taste of modern Iceland in Reykjavík, and delve into traditional folklore in coastal fishing villages, looking for whales and seabirds as we go.

Greenland’s remote coast
Enjoy the unique experience of visiting Greenland’s often-inaccessible east coast. Marvel at the soaring mountains reflected in the waters of the Scoresby Sund, the world’s largest fjord system. Look out for seals and whales, and learn about the fascinating culture of the people of Ittoqqortoormiit.

Itinerary adjustment – 1 August Departure: Due to port congestion in Akureyri, we will now call at Grimsey on 6 August and Akureyri on 7 August

    MS Fram (Expedition, 200-guests)

MS Fram is purpose built as an expedition vessel with a higher ice-class, chart drawing tools, ship depth sounding database, extractable forward sounding sonar, iceberg search lights, autonomous tracking system, oversized oil retention system for self-sufficiency, and a full 'expedition tools-deck' equivalent to a car-deck that holds 25 vehicles. We believe that as an explorer you need an 'expedition base-camp' that is comfortable - something that combines 'all oceans capabilities' with safety, flexibility and environmental friendliness. That's Fram - simply the best expedition ship imaginable.
