Antarctica21 proudly introduces its new, state-of-the-art polar vessel, the Magellan Discoverer, set to embark on its inaugural voyages during the 2026-2027 Antarctic season with its classic 8-day Antarctic Air Cruises. Designed for a superior and responsible expedition experience, the Magellan Discoverer features a cutting-edge hybrid diesel-electric propulsion system and active stabilizers. This advanced technology enables a smoother, quieter, and more environmentally conscious journey through the icy wonders. The vessel is a champion of environmental responsibility, complying with the stringent Tier III emission standard and utilizing heat recovery systems to minimize its footprint.

Like her sister ship, the Magellan Explorer, the Magellan Discoverer meets the stringent PC6 ice class specifications and maintains a similar boutique, yacht-like aesthetic. For the signature Antarctic air-cruises, she welcomes up to 76 guests in 40 comfortable cabins across three passenger decks, ensuring an intimate and personalized voyage.

Guests can enjoy a spacious dining area, versatile meeting rooms, and a stylish observation lounge and bar, all designed to foster a relaxed atmosphere for fellow explorers. For active travelers, a well-equipped gym is available, and an inviting gift shop offers mementos.
