The Ocean Albatros is a modern, innovative expedition vessel deployed to a wide selection of destinations, including Antarctica, the Arctic, and other exciting destinations. It is considered one of the most environmentally friendly expedition cruise vessels globally, boasting a more than 50% lower carbon footprint than traditional ships and implementing the Green Initiative Program to ensure sustainability and comfort.

Design and Technology: Beneath its sleek exterior, the ship features the patented, ice-conquering X-BOW® by Norwegian Ulstein Design. This design ensures the highest level of stability and comfort, especially in head seas, and enhances vessel performance. The ship is built to the highest Ice Class 1A and Polar Code 6 compliance, offering superior safety and access to remote areas. It also features Safe Return to Port, Dynamic Positioning, and Zero Speed Stabilizers.
Accommodation: It offers 94 comfortable staterooms and suites, all with unobstructed sea views, and most include their own private balcony. It also offers dedicated solo travel cabins without a single supplement, unlike the Ocean Victory. The staterooms are designed to keep the Polar regions front and center, with a generous view from every room.
Onboard Amenities: The Ocean Albatros provides two restaurants, a wellness area, an Albatros Nordic Bar, an open deck dining facility, and a modern lecture lounge. Unique to this vessel is a panorama sauna. Guests can also find two outdoor Jacuzzis offering spectacular 360° views of the mesmerizing landscape.
Expedition Access: Two hydraulic platforms can be lowered for near-water-level views and rare photographic opportunities. A spacious heated mudroom with four exterior doors ensures quick, safe, and effortless Zodiac boarding.

Premium suite - 42 m2 – FS (Freydis Suite)
The largest of all the staterooms on board the Ocean Albatros is the Premium Suite. This 2-bedroom suite features a double bed (or twin beds), a sofa bed, table and chair, a balcony and a spacious bathroom. Located on deck.4. Category B Suite
Balcony Suite approximately - 26-32 m2. Ocean Albatros has 2 Balcony Suites on board located on deck 6. The suites feature double or twin beds and a work desk, bathroom, and a large balcony. The balcony suites can host 2 people.

Grand Balcony Stateroom - app. 25-30 m2. The Grand Balcony Staterooms are located on deck 4. They have a balcony, a double bed or two single beds, and a bathroom. Superior Balcony Stateroom - app. 22-25 m2
The most abundant type of Stateroom on Ocean Albatros is located on decks 4 & 6. They have a balcony, a double bed or two single beds, a bathroom. The Superior Balcony Staterooms also include a seating area complete with a table and chair. Additionally, a select few of the Superior Balcony Staterooms are equipped with a sofa that can serve as a bed for a third occupant. If you prefer to book two staterooms with connecting doors, this is possible under this category upon request. The French Balcony Stateroom is a standard Stateroom with a French balcony, one queen-sized bed (150x200 cm), floor-to-ceiling windows, and a bathroom. Albatros Stateroom (Porthole) - 13-22 m2

There are four Triple Staterooms on board Ocean Albatros featuring portholes, all with private en-suites. Located on Deck 3, they're close to the mudroom and loading platforms. FTriple rooms can be shared with same gender other travellers on request. Triple staterooms are normally with twin beds however a double bed can be accommodated while the a third is a single bed.
